Physical and power. Both platforms are 1U, but verify rack depth and airflow, confirm power outlets and cord types for the new supplies (especially 1 kW units on fully loaded 48-port PoE models), and check uplink optics — 1G and 10G SFP/SFP+ modules and fiber types are not interchangeable.

Verification checklist: VLANs and trunks up; PoE devices powered; uplinks healthy and spanning-tree root as expected; 802.1X/authentication succeeding; management, SSH, SNMP, and syslog reachable; stack roles and redundancy correct.
