If a single port fails, the unit does not ship as-is: the fault is repaired (port, PHY, or module swap) and the full test suite runs again.

Intermittent faults (a failing PSU that only drops under thermal stress, a marginal SFP slot) are exactly what a soak test catches. Units that pass soak move to final QA; units that fail go back to the repair lane and start over.
Each unit receives a final check: serial match, cosmetic grade, packaging standard (anti-static wrap, foam, double-wall box), and accessory check (rack ears, cables, modules as listed). You can request the test report for any unit before payment — it lists the serial number, test steps, pass results, and the OS/license state. This is standard practice for our customers; it is not a special favor.
