Replacement of defective engine boards

Confirm that the engine board is faulty and confirm the slot position and then perform the in-line replacement operation.

3. Wear electrostatic wrist strap and disconnect the defective engine from the device.

4. Insert the prepared spare parts into the device, wait for the engine to power up and start to check the wipe state 

(engine initialization startup about 3-4 minutes)

ps: The software version of the engine board will be automatically synchronized during the initialization process.

5. Use show system redundancy status to check the status of the engine card.

(E) Switching Exercise

Do a switching exercise after the replacement engine card is working normally to make sure that both engine cards are working normally.

On the main engine, use the command system switchover to switch the status to standby, and then use show system redundancy status to confirm.
