Loading System Version on CE6855HI After Formatting via BIOS
Issue Description
The CE6855HI running version V200R001C00SPC700 may occasionally fail to boot into the system and continuously restart. This issue is caused by a software algorithm flaw in V200R001C00SPC700. The solution is to load a new software version via BIOS.
Solution
Enter BIOS Interface During Boot
During the startup of the main control board, press Ctrl+B to enter the BIOS interface.
Select Ethernet Transmission Interface
Choose option 3 to enter the Ethernet transmission interface.
Format Storage Device and Upload Software
Server IP address: Computer’s IP address.
Switch IP address: Main control board’s IP address (must be in the same subnet as the computer).
Network Mask: Subnet mask (refer to the example below).
Select option 3 to format the storage device and upload the software.
Note 1: Select Yes to proceed.
Note 2: On the local computer, start the TFTP transfer software and confirm the local IP address (recommended).
Note 3: Refresh the IP information in the second text box as shown below:
Note 4: The file name must be selected from the specified TFTP path and should include the **.cc** extension.
Note 5: When prompted a second time with "Please input patch name:", press the Enter key on the keyboard.
After completing the above steps, the formatting and software upload process will proceed normally (a successful loading process is shown in the figure below).
