Do I need a DNA subscription on a used Catalyst 9300 or 9500?

Catalyst 9000 switches run IOS-XE with DNA licensing: DNA Essentials provides the base automation and software management foundation, while DNA Advantage adds SD-Access, TrustSec and richer automation, analytics and telemetry. When buying used, check which DNA subscription is registered to the serial number - subscriptions are transferred through the Cisco Smart Account.

Can Catalyst 9200 stack with Catalyst 2960-X/XR or share modules with the Catalyst 9300?

No on both counts. Catalyst 9200 cannot be stacked with Catalyst 2960-X/XR (different CPU architecture and platform scaling), and Catalyst 9300 network modules are not compatible with Catalyst 9200 switches.
